He retired as parts manager of Pope Motor Company and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, Ackworth, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry David Robinson and Georgia Alberta Pate Robinson; his loving wife, Rachel Bennett Robinson; his granddaughter, Robin Barron and his great granddaughter, Amanda Robinson.
