Tallahassee, Fla. - Kathleen Roach Rushing, 82, died early Sunday morning in Tallahassee after an extended illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in Tallahassee for the past several years. She was retired from the Statesboro Regional Library and a member of the Langston Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Talmadge L. Rushing, Tallahassee; one daughter, Emma Louise R. Choat, Summerville, S.C.; one brother, Hal Roach, Statesboro; and five grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Rushing will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro. Burial will be in the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
