"OGDEN - Funeral services for Hilma Augusta Y. Fernelius, 68, Uinta, who died Thursday at 8 p.m. in an Ogden hospital of a kidney tumor, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m., at 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, by Bishop Aldo R. Stephens, of the Uintah Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. at 2128 South State St., Salt Lake, and the place of services Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday to time of
services. Burial will be in Uintah Cemetery.
A daughter of Andreas F. and Matilda Sophia Sunnerberg Youngberg, she was born Jan. 23, 1878 in Sandy. A dressmaker and practical nurse, she lived in Uinta for 31 years. She was married to A. G. Fernelius June 23, 1915, in the Salt Lake Temple. Interested in Church work, she was active in the Relief Society, Primary, Mutual Improvement Assn. and other auxiliaries and activities.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, included two sons and two daughters, Harley K. Fernelius and Melva L. Olson, both of Salt Lake; Gilbert A. Fernelius, Ogden, and Retta A. Fernelius, Uinta; two brothers and three sisters; Andrew E. and Carl O. Youngberg, Sophia M. Y. Gilroy and Sarah A. Y. Newton, all of Salt Lake and Hilda J. Y. Stewart, Richfield."
