Funeral services were held at the Walker Baptist Church Monday for Mrs. W. T. Walker, 75, of Wyatt, Route 1, who died in a Ruston hospital Sunday, Dec. 23, 1951, after an illness of several years. Rites were conducted by the Rev. D. W. McDaniel of Winnfield and the Rev. G. A. Morgan of Hodge, and interment was in the Transport Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Luther Walker, Moze Moffett, Haron Walker, Roy Stewart, W. H. Stovall, Maurice Chapel, John Stovall, and Osler Douglas, all nephews of the deceased.

Survivors include her husband; seven sons, Pyburn Walker of Hodge, Edgar L. of Camden, Miss., Elmo of Amite, La., Olen of Philadelphia, Penn., George T. of Natchez, Miss., Stewart with the Army in Vienna, Austria, and L. Z., of Arcadia; two daughters, Grace of Marietta, Ga. and Gladys of Wyatt; three sisters, Mrs. R. H. Dickerson of Chatham, Mrs. Ray R. Southard of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. May Douglas of DeQuincy, and a brother, D. M. Stovall of Shreveport.

Mrs. Walker was born in Jackson Parish and was married in 1896. With her husband she lived in the same house for 55 years.
