Elisha E. Woods was born in Mobile ,Alabama in 1899 to Elisha Woods and Laura Taylor. He married Mary Ella Carson on April, 15 1919. He was the father of Edward, Truman, Myrtle,Warren B. Marvin E. Ralph W. and Melba Y.
Elisha was a brick mason and cement finisher by trade. He help with the building of the General Motors Building, the McAbee, Building, and the ambulance bay for Harper Hospital in the early 1920's.
All though I never knew my grandfather. The love has transcended through those he left behind.
