Marion J. Forster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Forster was born at Salem, SD on 4-4-1911. He was united in marriage to Miss Genevieve Arnold at Salem, SD on 4-2-1934 and they farmed in the Salem area until 1958 when he owned a plumbing business in Salem. In 1959 they moved to Sioux Falls, SD where Mr. Forster worked in maintenance, and in 1974 they retired and moved to Salem, SD. He died in a Sioux Falls hospital on 11-26-1976.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve, 3 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Aryls) Kreutzfeldt of Holland, Penn.; Mrs. Alan (Brenda) Mancarti of Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Bonnie) Schroyer of Pierre, SD; 2 sons, Harlan of
Hudson, SD; and Loy of North Platte, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; 5 sisters; Mrs. Lorraine Kirby of Rapid City, SD; Mrs. Mary Jane Arnold, Salem, SD; Mrs. Dorothy Hershley of Rapid City, SD; Mrs. Lavon Newton of Anaheim, Calif.; and
Mrs. Beverly Tieszen of Ft. Collins, Colorado; 3 brothers, Harold of Salem, SD; Walter of Santee, California; and Dale of Hot Springs, SD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, 1 sister and 1 grandson.
