TRENTON, Ga. -- Funeral for Glenda R. Goodwin of Trenton, formerly of Decatur, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. John Smith and the Rev. Jack Bounds officiating.

Burial will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goodwin died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1950, in Chattanooga to William H. "Bill" Reeves and Nellie Viola Reeves. She retired as a teacher from Decatur City Schools and was a member of the National Education Association, the Alabama Education Association and Decatur Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late Glenn Reeves.

Survivors include her husband, James Denton Goodwin; one son, Mark Goodwin of Hattiesburg, Miss.; her mother of Trenton; two brothers, Anthony Emanuel of Memphis and Raymond Emanuel of Oxford; and one sister, Annette Broom of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.
