John P. Klauck, 74, of 1114 Dewey Street, Kiel, died Monday evening December 20, 2004 at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein where he resided the past three years.

He was born August 2, 1930, in Plymouth, son of the late Arthur and Elsie Menne Klauck. John attended Ss. Peter and Paul Parochial School, Kiel and was a 1948 graduate of Kiel High School.

On August 2, 1952 he married Jeanette Neumeyer at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2002.

John worked at H. G. Weber Company in Kiel for 38 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel where he served as an usher and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was also a volunteer fireman and EMT for the City of Kiel for 37 years. John was a died-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He also had an extensive beer can collection.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeanette of Kiel, eight children:

He is further survived on one sister, Elaine Robinson, Milwaukee, sister and brothers-in-law, Adela Reinboldt, Virginia (Donald) Berg, Gilbert (LouAnn) Neumeyer, Bernice (Richard) Klaeser, Richard (Nancy) Neumeyer, Jim (Dorothy) Neumeyer, Shirley (LeRoy) Arndt, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Gerlach; one brother, Eugene Klauck; and two brothers-in-law, Ken Robinson and Don Gerlach.

Funeral Mass will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, with the Rev. Loren Nys SDS officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
