Countess Elizabeth Comyn, Countess of Angus
Third daughter of Alexander Comyn, the Earl of Buchan and Elizabeth de Quincy, the daughter of Roger and Helen of Galloway. Born about 1248.
Elizabeth married Sir Gilbert de Umfreville, the son of Gilbert de Umfreville, a Norman and the feudal Baron of Prudhoe, and Maud, Countess of Angus. They had three sons; Gilbert, Robert the 3rd Earl and Thomas.
Elizabeth died shortly before 17 Feb 1329.
