Death of Frank Evetts

Belton, June 28 – The many friends of Hon. J. H. Evetts will be sorry to learn of the sad news of his brother, Frank Evetts’ death, which occurred very suddenly today at El Paso, Tex.

Mr. Evetts had gone to El Paso some two weeks ago in the hopes of regaining his health which had been very delicate for some months, and it was while there that his death occurred today.

The remains of Frank Evetts will reach Temple probably Sunday and will be taken from Wright’s undertaking establishment to Moffat, where interment will be and which is the home-place of the deceased. Mr. Evetts was about 40 years old and a bachelor. He is survived by his widowed mother Mrs. Allie Evetts, six sisters and four brothers, Mrs. E. I. Hill of Roscoe, Mrs. John Halley, Midland; Mrs. Bob Grimes, Miles; Mrs. Jim Chaffin, Little River; Mrs. Ernest Grimes and Mrs. Will Berry, Moffat; Russell Evetts and Will Evetts of Moffat; Edgar Evetts of Jarrell and Jim Evetts of Belton.
