Catherine worked at the former Cluett-Peabody Shirt Factory in Virginia for many years and later worked in the kitchen of the Chisholm schools, as well as at the Lincoln Center kitchen. She loved to walk around Chisholm and visit with people. She had a witty personality and loved Scottish terriers. If you ever met Catherine, you would always remember her. While a resident at Heritage Manor, she always wanted to help others.
Survivors include her cousins: Mona Nyhus, Claryce Oman, Renee Ferrell, Patricia Nyhus and Deno Arabanos.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her stepmother, Carrie.
Interment will follow in Chisholm Cemetery.
