She had seven sisters Aileen Pendley, Lillian Crump, Kathleen Moore Conway, Annie Lee Reece Sticher, Johnnie Mae Lanham, Louise Carden, and Lenora Brock. She had 4 brothers Sam , Gene, Clinton, and Herman Dillard. She had 4 children. One daughter Yvette, and 3 sons Terry, Joey and Keith Pelfrey.
At the time of her death she was married to Jerry Jones of Acworth, Georgia. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School and was the Homecoming Queen her senior year.
