Mr. Sapp was born in Blackshear, GA, and moved to Sumter County from Orange Lake in 1961. He was a retired drag-line operator; U.S. Army veteran of World War II; and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha; son, Travis, Webster; daughter, Shirlee Hatcher, Webster; brother, J.W., Columbus, GA; 12 grandchildren; and several great--grand-children.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Interdenominational Worship Center, Bushnell. Interment will follow the service in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
