"William E. Yeager, 67, of 335 North 13th St., died yesterday in his home. He was a hatter employed for 15 years by the G.W. Alexander Company, hat manufacturers, West Reading, until his retirement. He was a son of the late William H. and Elizabeth (Winter) Yeager. Surviving are his widow, Margaret (Plucker); three daughters, Viola, wife of William Higo, Erma, wife of Dr. David Brooks, and Loretta, wife of Harry Wentzel, all of Reading; a son, William H., Reading; ten grandchildren, two sisters, Bessie I. Yeager, and Esther, widow of George Goodman, Reading, and two brothers, Irvin, Reading, and Robert, Scranton.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Commandery 247, Knights of Malta. Funeral arrangements are in charge of T.C. Auman, Inc. The Rev. Maynard C. Hallock will officiate on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral parlors. Interment will be made in Alsace Cemetery."
