Born to Basil T. and Elizabeth Kearn Hill, also two sisters, Mary G. and Margaret L. Hill. He was raised by his grandmother, Mary Ober Kearn in Duffy OH after the death of his mother in 1906. Married Auvena V. Shreve in 1929. Five children were born to them before he died at age 33. He was well known and had many friends.
