Winnie Lee King of Paris died Tuesday, February 18, 1986, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be made in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. King was born May 10, 1909, in Lamar County, a daughter of Elmore Bowman and Emma Pearl McFadden Bowman. She was married to Albert L. King on September 17, 1927 in Lamar County. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was a retired governess.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert King, on August 9, 1955.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James T. (JoElla) Gladden of Paris and Mrs. S.A. (Myra) Fletcher of Talco; one granddaughter, Mrs. Bill (Marlise) Melton of Elgin; one grandson, James Mitchell Castlebury of Paris; two brothers, Grafton 'Bud' Bowman of Paris and Arch Bowman of Winters; three sisters, Vee Smith of Paris, Mrs. Gilbert Marshall of Paris and Mrs. John Hutchings of Paris.
