On February 14, 1914, Bunny married Clay Lemmon Huss. Bunny and Clay had children: Betty B., Dorothy Eloise, Mary Kathryn, James Frederick, and Thomas Earl.
Bunny was active in many civic and community affairs such as Hayes PTA, Methodist Church, Boy Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, Eastern Star, and the Amity Dance Club. Less than three years after celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, Bunny died at the family home and was buried in the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery. Her death was caused by multiple sclerosis.
