Mrs. Frieda Thayer was born Frieda Natalie Anderson, the daughter of August and Johanna Anderson in Stockholm, Sweden on August 6, 1875.

At the age of six years she moved to this country with her family, settling in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Following this the family moved to a homestead north of Brayton, Nebraska, where Mrs. Thayer lived until she was united in marriage to Lewis Thayer at O'Connor, Nebraska, on March 20, 1901. The young couple moved to another farm in the area. Mrs. Thayer continued to live there until ten years after the death of her husband. In 1934 Mrs. Thayer moved to Denver, Colorado, where she was to spend the remaining years of her life.

She passed from this life on May 19, 1960, after an illness of one month. At death she was 84 years, 9 months and 13 days of age.
