Last Rites at O'Connor For Beda Anderson -
Miss Beda Anderson, 77, well known in Greeley County, passed away early Monday morning, April 18th at the home of her niece, Miss Marie Conners at Council Bluffs, Iowa, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held at the O'Connor Catholic Church Wednesday morning, April 20th with Father Andrew Gonda officiating and the McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the family plot in the Hillside Cemetery at Wolbach.
Rosary was recited at the farm home Tuesday evening.
Pallbearers were Carl Sautter, Oscar Sautter, Bill Condon, Paul Murray, Tom O'Connell and Mike Joyce.
Beda O. Anderson was born in Sweden and came to the United States when a young girl. She made her home with a brother, Oscar Anderson, on a farm between Greeley and Wolbach, until the past several months when ill health forced her to live with her niece, Miss Marie Conners at Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was a Catholic convert, recently joining the church.
Survivors are her brother, Oscar Anderson, Wolbach; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Conners, of Omaha, and Mrs. Freda Thayer of Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
