Benjamin Wright was the son of
Abraham Wright and Sarah Cox.
The parents were married on July 10,
1823, in Randolph County, Indiana.

Benjamin married Neoma Avaline Lamasters
on December 7, 1848, in Howard County, Indiana; they were married until her death
in 1852. The couple had no children together.

He married Phebe Wright on February 23, 1852, in Polk City, Polk County, Iowa; they were married until her death in 1868. The couple had three children together, namely:

Annetta (Wright) Hulick (1858-1947),
Sarah Wright (1860-before 1870), and
Albert Wright (1862-1912).

It appears that Benjamin and Phebe shared the same surname; since she was only 17 when they married, it seems unlikely that
she would have been married previously to
a man with the surname Wright.

He married Eliza Jane Metzker, daughter of William Charles Metzker and Ruth McBride,
on December 31, 1868, in Cove, Union
County, Oregon; they were married until
her death on October 30, 1881. The couple had five children, namely:

Rosetta (Wright) Goodman (1870-1947),
Mary Olive (Wright) Goodman (1872-1909),
John C. Wright (1874-1915),
Phoeby (Wright) Evans (1876-1961), and
Lillian (Wright) Foster (1880-1964).
