She was born July 29, 1951, in Jamestown, the daughter of Howard and Blanche Ewer Grimes.
She attended Cassadaga Valley Schools, and, in earlier years, had been employed by Cummins Inc. She was presently employed by Robin Twine Industries in McLeansville, N.C., as office manager.
Besides her father of Sinclairville, and her mother of Ashville, she is survived by four daughters: Tonya Taber of Jamestown, Tara Grimes of Broomfield, Colo., Talia and Tasia Hine, both of Burlington; five grandchildren: Joshua and Alexandria Frangione, Wyatt, Morgan and Alana Taber, all of Jamestown; a sister, Dorothy Hansen of Kennedy; and four brothers: Howard Grimes Jr. of Mebane, N.C., Larry Grimes of Lakewood, Fred Grimes of Hudson, Fla., and Dwight Grimes of Rogers, Ohio.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Turnpike Cemetery, Lottsville, Pa. The Rev. Lowell Watson, pastor of the Watts Flats United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Visitation will not be observed.
