HARTLAND - Neal A. Robbins, 65, passed in peace at home Nov. 2, 2010, with his loving wife and children by his side. He was born June 12, 1945, in Worcester, Mass., a son of Walter Prescott and Josephine Millington (Smith) Robbins. In his early years he lived in Orleans, Vt., and later moved to Springfield, Mass., with his mother and stepfather Roy Dawson. Neal was employed by Pratt and Whitney before moving to Maine to work for Cooper Weymouth Peterson Co. (Formtek) until his retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Irene "Dolly" Robbins of Hartland; his children and their spouses: daughter Blynda and Tim Pushor and son Randy and Roxanne Robbins, all of Hartland, son Dale and Michelle Robbins of Palmyra, and daughter Rebecca "BJ" and Alex Shearon of Franklin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Dani Merrithew, Chris Langley, Meaghan Robbins, AJ Shearon, Amanda Pushor, Shaniah Clark, Jenifer Robbins, Megan Shearon, Brooke Robbins and Dale "LD" Robbins II; three great-grandchildren, Luquis, Ava and Makayla; godchild Angel Webber Knight; brother Dennis and his wife, Joan Robbins, of East Greenwich, R.I.; brother-in-law David "Tinker" and his wife, Arlene Lyons, of Pittsfield; sister-in-law Bonnie Tweedie of Palmyra; uncle Bucky Smith of Canada; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, including Bruce and Rosemary Ballard, among many others.
