"I.N. Lawrence departed this life at his home on South Montgomery Street in Sherman, Feb. 4, 1918. He was born in Arkansas and was 59 years of age at the time of his death. On Nov. 8, 1882 he married to Miss S. E. Robinson, to whom eight children were born. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. S. E. Lawrence the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Mamie Robinson, R.D. Lawrence, Mrs. Maud O'Shields, Clyde Lawrence, W.B. Lawrence, and Robert Fred Lawrence. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Dr. F. F. Brown and Rev. D. O. Hause at 2 o'clock."
