Brooklet - Harry D. Bazemore, 80, died early Saturday morning at a Statesboro hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Screven County but had lived in the Brooklet community of Bulloch County most of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harry D. Bazemore of Brooklet; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Ford of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Pete Brower of Housendale; a brother, Fred Bazemore of Savannah; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro with burial in the Brooklet City Cemetery.
