Mrs. Addie Goff, 79, Died Tuesday

Mrs. Addie Ellen Goff, 79, lifetime area resident, died Tuesday morning at the Girard hospital. She had suffered a stroke two and a half years ago and had been in failing health since that time.

Mrs. Goff was born January 3, 1886 in Girard. She was a member of the Round Prairie Baptist church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Daisy Umphenour of R.R. 1, Galena, Mrs. Florence Boore of R.R. 2, Columbus, Mrs. Hazel Brown of Mineola, Tex., and Mrs. Mabel Heskett of Nevada City, Calif; two sons, Edgar Goff of Hayward, Calif., and Lloyd Goff of Pittsburg; three brothers, Loyd Frakes, Warren Frakes and Stanley Frakes, all of Girard; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Sales and Mrs. Lola Sales, both of Pittsburg and Mrs. Mamie Critton of R.R. 4, Girard; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afernoon in the Round Prairie Baptist church with Rev. Richard Boatright officiating. Burial will be in the Girard cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

The Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena is in charge of arrangements.
