RITES SET FOR INGA SEVERSON
Mrs. Inga Severson, 342 Ninth Ave. died Saturday at Foothills Rest Home, where she had been confined since October 1966.
She was born June 14, 1879 at Valders, Norway. She came to the United States and Colorado in 1906, and lived south of Longmont. In 1910, she personally homesteaded land in the Bersford, S.D. area. Following her marriage to Thor Severson, April 12, 1914 in Brooklyn, N.Y., she returned to Longmont where she had made her home since.
Her husband, Thor Severson, preceded her in death in 1918. Until his death he had been a road contractor. She was also preceded in death by one son, Arnold.
Mrs. Severson was a life member of the W.C.T.U., and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Thor Severson of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Ingaborg Mikkelson of Oslo, Norway; three grandchildren, all of Sacramento, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews, including Theorval and Oscar Throndson of Longmont. Mrs. Severson had made her home with a grandniece, Mrs. Lester Coyle of Longmont.
Funeral services will be conducted by Ahlbergs, Tuesday; 2:30 p.m. at the Bethleham Lutheran Church. Rev. Paul D. Sather will officiate.
Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
