ROSS-At the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Cudney, Friday evening, August 14, 1908, of erysipelas, Mrs. Sarah Sprague Ross, aged 79 years, 8 months and 22 days.
Mrs. Ross has lived with the daughter Mrs F. P. Secor the past two years, and at different times and was therefore known among her circle of friends, for advancing age and infirmities would naturally confine her at home to some extent.
Mrs. Ross was born in Camden, N. J., and came to Denver in 1881 with her husband, who passed away in Longmont. She was the mother of eleven children, six of whom survive her, three sons and three daughters: Dr. S. J.Ross, Wm. C. Ross, C. J. Ross, and Mrs. E. E. Cudney of Denver, Mrs. F. P. Secor and Mrs. A. H. Allen of Longmont. There are also eighteen grandchildren and one great grand child.
After her death the remains were taken to the undertaking rooms in Denver, where funeral services were held by the Rev. Dr. F. F. Kramer, after which they were taken direct to the cemetery where interment was made along side her husband, Rev. A. L. Chase officiating, the three sons and three sons-in-laws acting as pall bears.
