Mr. Robert "Bobby-Popcorn" Wofford, 67, of 38 McClure Drive, Cartersville, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the New Hope Baptist Church of Cassville. Interment will follow in the Cassville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Eppinger's Funeral Home.
"Popcorn" was born in Bartow County on Dec. 19, 1942. He was educated in the Bartow County School System and attended Summer Hill High School. He was employed by Goodyear Mills for many years and was last employed by Jewell's Salvage Yard.
He leaves to mourn his passing: a brother, David McClure; a cousin, Willie Wofford (Shelia); and a host of other relatives and friends.
