Michele Renee´ Elder, 42, of 2127 US Hwy. 150N, Wataga, Ill., died at 11:56 a.m. Thursday October 28, 2010 at her home.
She was born June 16, 1968 in Galesburg the daughter of Gayle W. and Jeanette E. Brown Potts. She married Joe Edward Elder on December 27, 1990 in Galesburg. He survives.
Also surviving is her son, Thomas W. Elder of Galesburg; her parents, Gayle and Jeanette Potts of Wataga, her grandmother Bonnie Brown of Galesburg, and two sisters, Brenda K. (Chris) LaGrow of Rio, Ill. and Carol Ann (Jack) Maynard of Niles, Mich. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She worked for NAPA Auto Parts in Galesburg for several years. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1986.
Graveside services were held November 1, 2010 in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Melva England officiated. Memorials may be made to the family or to the American Cancer Society.
