Frances Brasher Boyd, 80, of McComb, died Nov. 15, 2005, at her residence following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hollywood Cemetery, with Father Patrick Smith officiating. It was Mrs. Boyd's request for no visitation. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.
Boyd was born Dec. 12, 1924. She was the daughter of James Brasher and Ida Brasher.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loubet Boyd; and a sister, Ann Manning.
Survivors include her daughter, Lou Boyd of McComb; one sister, Phoebe Daigle of McComb; and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary of the Pines, P.O. Box 11, Chatawa, MS 39632.
