WARREN, JEAN SACKETT, age 83, of Winter Park, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harry Davenport Warren, Jr. and parents, Paul F. Sackett and Elise Meyer Sackett of SC. Born in Greenville, SC, and resided in Winter Park, FL, since 1953. She is survived by four daughters Elise
Warren of Birmingham, AL; Leigh Warren Mycoff (Robert L.) of Orlando, FL; Amy Warren Beaty of Richmond, VA; Julia Perez (Alberto) of Bogota, Colombia, and Winter Park, FL; four grandchildren Whitney Blair Mycoff, Amy-Morgan Mycoff, John Davenport Beaty, Samuel Ellis Warren Beaty. After attending Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, she taught school in Gastonia, NC. She and her husband Harry moved to Winter Park. She was a long time member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church and served as the president of the Women of the Church. Jean was an involved community volunteer serving as president of Junior Service League of Winter Park, a member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, president of the Winter Park Youth Center, Honorary Life member of the Women of the Church of Winter Park Presbyterian Church, Honorary member of Tri Delta sorority, Board Member of the Women's Residential and Counseling Center of Orlando, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. She received the Converse College Community Service Award in 1998. Jean and Harry enjoyed traveling to Europe. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren supporting their interests and activities.
