She was the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine McSherry Overbaugh. She was a member of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, a charter member of Joan of Arc Circle, Daughters of Isabella, the National Council of Catholic Women and the Arch-confraternity of the Passion.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Josepine McSherry, at home; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Mamie Jacoby, McSherrystown; Mrs. Annie Pohlman, New York City and Harry Overbaugh.
Funeral services Wednesday, with prayers at 8:30 a.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, McSherrystown followed by a requiem Mass at 9 a.m. at Annunication Church. The Rev. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Patrick F. McGee will be celebrandt. Burial in the parish cemetery.
