Scott was the son of Isham C. and Lula Jane Murray Sinclair. He was the grandson of Winfield Scott and Sara Jane Tyre Sinclair and Franklin M. and Sarah Kersey Murray.

He was married to Ruth Hinson, daughter of Lonnie Clayton and Maude Bailey Hinson. They had no children.

Obituary:
Scott Sinclair, 70, of 3341 Mary Drive, died Tuesday in a Macon hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 am Thursday in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial was in the Macon Memorial Park.

Mr Sinclair was born in Wayne county and lived in Macon for 30 years. He was an agent for Gulf Life Insurance Co., and a member of the Mickey Fuller Lodge F.& A.M. and the Dixie Chapter, order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Ruth Hinson Sinclair; two sisters, Alma Sinclair Gignilliat of Warrenton and Eula Spence of Fernandina Beach, Fla.,; two brothers, Arlie Sinclair and Lester Sinclair both of Jeff Davis County.
