Mr. Rytkonen, who resided at 302 Eastwood Drive, founded the company in 1970. He was also instrumental in helping to organize the North Lawrence vocational school and had been active in the Junior Achievement program.
He was a member of the Tool Manufacturers Association of America, the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and Gillen Post 33 of the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II.
Born June 28, 1919, in Wakefield, Mich., he was the son of Peter and Anna Rytkonen. He married Marian A. Schneegas on Dec. 31, 1940, and she preceded him in death Dec. 19, 1981.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Warren (Sandy) Hudson and Mrs. Rick (Linda) Flynn, both of Bedford, and Mrs. Jerry (Geri) Espy of Odessa, Fla.; seven grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Richey, Alpena, Mich.
A brother, William, and a sister, Fran Przyborski, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Day & Carter Mortuary with Ray Housel officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by Gillen Post 33, American Legion.
