He married Donna Bryant on August 24, 1974 at Great Bend KS. She survives of the home. He is also survived by one son, one daughter, four brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
He was associated 39 years with Orscheln Farm and Home and was currently serving as product manager. Mr. Befort was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Moberly.
Services were January 11, at Zion Lutheran Church in Moberly with Rev. Laurence Carlson officiating.
Interment was at Lakin-Commanche District Cemetery at Ellinwood, KS, Saturday, January 12 with Rev. Gary Dassow officiating.
