Mrs. Thelma Parmer, 29, and her infant baby, were both laid to rest Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 in the Rock Hill Cemetery in the Rock Hill community, five miles west of Chandler. The mother and the new born baby both passed away at 9:15 Tuesday night and were both buried in the same casket.
Mrs. Thelma Parmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nowlin of near Chandler was born in Hall County, Texas in 1901. The Nowlin family moved to Chandler when deceased was only a small child and have lived there since. She was the wife of Nathan Parmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Deceased is survived by her husband, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nowlin, two small daughters and one son, three sisters and seven brothers.
