Born near Little Blue River, near Purcell, McClain County, Oklahoma. She was named after her fraternal grandmother: Mahala "Hailey" (Johnson) Crow (1846-1870).

Lee and Delpha were married at the home of her sister, Vinnie Pearl (Crow) Zahn {Mrs. George Grover Zahn, Sr.}

D. O. taught a men's Bible class for around 35-40 years at the First Baptist Church in Clinton, OK. Lee taught Bible School to 5 & 6 year olds for many, many years.
