Obit 1:

Herald of Truth (May 1, 1882, p. 141-42):

WINGARD.- March 29th, in Richland township, Cambria County, Pa., Maria Wingard, aged 82 years and 2 months. For many years she suffered from spells of severe sickness. She had one of these on the morning of her death. As she spoke frequently of her sister, living seven miles distant, she was sent for. She exchanged a few words with her sister and died half an hour after her arrival. She desired to depart, and had made her peace with God. Years ago she had prepared her burial clothes. Her husband died 18 months before her. She leaves a numerous family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services by Moses Miller and John Hershberger, from John 5: 24-30.

Obit 2:
Johnstown Tribune (Apr. 7, 1882):

"Died in Richland Township on the 20th of Mar, Mary, relict of Jacob Wingard. She was the mother of 11 children, two of whom are deceased. She was born in Somerset County in 1800, and has lived on the same farm on which she died for over 50 years."

The dates are different. Most of us in the family use the 29th, rather than the 20th.
