Note to future researchers:

Notice that the middle initial is "H" rather than "S". The birth year correlates to our John as well as the wife's initials. And both are buried in the same cemetery. It is cautious to assume it to be an actual find. Obtaining records as to the purchaser of the marker is the key to validate it, i.e. who commissioned it and in what year. That person may have not known that he used "S" in the previous census. Perhaps there are Church records for him. And "Summerfield" has not been shown with a source to validate it. However, I am confident that this is the correct man based upon correlating facts mentioned above.
