Chico Record, Saturday Morning, January 17, 1914, pg 1 col 3: Hal Hamrick Is Dead From Pneumonia. Hal Hamrick, who has lived in this city for the last two years, died at a local hospital at 6:40 last night. Pneumonia was the cause of death.

Deceased had been in the hospital but a few hours. He was taken there yesterday morning but the case was so far advanced that it could not be overcome.

While in Chico, Hamrick made his home at the home of Charles Ryon, 927 Chestnut street. He was an esteemed member of the Woodmen of the World.

Deceased was born in Central Point, Oregon, and was about forty-three years old.

He is survived by three brothers and a sister of Central Point, Oregon, and one brother and a sister in Arbuckle.

The funeral probably will be held Monday from the Christian church. The Woodmen will have charge.

The funeral of Hal Hamrick, who died at a local hospital Friday night, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. Whether it will be from the Bicknell & Moore undertaking parlors or from the home at 927 Chestnut street has not been decided. The pall bearers probably will be from the Woodmen of the World, of which deceased was a member.
