D. Robin Hagin, 61, died Tuesday in the Veterans Medical Center in Augusta after a long illness.
He was a native of Bulloch County but had lived in Chicago for a number of years before moving back to Statesboro two years ago. Mr. Hagin was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Margaret Prosser, Statesboro; brother, Mack Hagin, Pembroke; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held today at 5 p.m. in the New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Grantham officiating Visitation will be today from 2p.m. to 4:30p.m. at Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
