She was united in marriage to Arthur B. Bettis on February 20, 1876 in Wayne County, Iowa. To this union were born three children: Nora B. Warrick, who passed away October 4, 1952, Jesse Bettis of Des Moines and Alva Bettis of Allerton.
For many years she was a member of the Christian church at Clio and was active in church work as long as her health permitted.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Clio Tuesday, September 8, 1959 with Rev. Clyde C. Leeds in charge. Music was furnished by Elsie Krouch, Janetta Chapman and Wilma Toliver. Pallbearers were R. G. Stricker, Burrel Bohall, Carl Grerr, Ralph Mitchell, Herman Cass and Wayne Hutchinson. Burial was in the [Fairview-Clio North] Cemetery.
