"May 23 – Reuben O. Moherman, 70, died Friday of a cerebral hemorrhage following a three year illness. Born in Jackson township, October 5, 1879, he was a son of Fred and Theeta Moherman, and his entire life was spent in the township where he farmed. He was a member of the North Jackson Federated church. Surviving are his wife, the former Mellie Justice of Milton township, whom he married October 30, 1900; three sons, Fred of Rosemont, Lewis of Niles, and Jack of North Jackson; a brother Rolla Moherman of Warren, and one grandchild. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Louis Raymond were held Monday afternoon at the Federated church."
