Funeral Saturday, Sept. 2, 9:15 a.m., from Malz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rank Rd., Mt. Prospect, to St. Mary Church, Buffalo Grove. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary. Visitation Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. 394-2336.

Grew up in Hays, Kansas and then Alamosa, Colorado before the family moved to Chicago.

Married Eleanor Louise Hendrickx on September 21, 1935 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.

Everyone liked Pete! And everyone in the family knew "Pete & Eleanor in Chicago"

Production manager for Welmaid Products in Chicago for over 50 years, possibly where he met his wife Eleanor.

Pete enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, keeping his yard green, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, the Bears, and the Blackhawks, best experienced with a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Legacy member of the Delta Chi Fraternity, Iowa State Chapter, initiated August 1989.
