Aquilla Windsor died of gunshot wounds while hunting and trying to stop a dog fight. He was killed with his own gun. Buried in the Windsor Family Cemetery with a simple fieldstone marked A. Aquilla's wife may have been Elizabeth Minish who died in Wayne, IN in 1853. They had four children: Elizabeth Mitchell, Lucy Day, Nancy Burns & Verlinda Threewits.
