Mrs. Susanna C. Brandenburg
Mrs. Susanna C. Brandenburg, widow of Eli Brandenburg, died at the home of her son, Mr. Lewis H. Brandenburg, at Myersville, November 30, after three weeks' illness of organic heart disease, aged 82 years, 5 months and 11 days. She was a daughter of the late William and Susanna Main, and was a devoted member of Christ Reformed church, Middletown, for many years. She was the mother of nine children one son Clarence M., having preceded her to the grave. The following children survive: Theodore M., at Frederick; Marion G., Myersville; George W., Hagerstown; Calvin R., Cosmopolis, Wash; Edward F., Manito, Col.; William W., Harmony; James C. and Lewis H., at Myersville. One sister, Mrs. Sarah Waters, of Brewster, Neb., also survives. The funeral was held at the house on Monday afternoon, Dec. 3, at 1 o'clock, her pastor, Rev. Dr. Geo. A. Snyder, of Middletown, officiating. assisted by Rev. H, E. Krone, of the U. B. church, Myersville. Interment in Middletown.
