Phyllis Jean Sowers, 68, of Prussia Road, Waverly, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Pike Community Hospital in Waverly. She was born June 10, 1942 in Salyersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elmer Caudill and Alicee Collett Caudill. On December 9, 1960, Phyllis was united in marriage to Robert Dewitt Sowers who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Carolyn Sowers, Bobbi Ritchhart and husband Dan, Michael Sowers, Steven Sowers and wife Tracy all of Waverly and Angela Sowers of Massieville, Ohio; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, James Caudill and wife Sue of Clearwater, Florida; and a sister, Shirley Isaac and husband Lincoln of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her parents, four brothers, J.F., Ray, Minyard and Billy Caudill; as well as two sisters, Mabel Crabtree and Leetta Rinehart preceded Phyllis in death.
Services were entrusted to Boyer Funeral Home of Waverly, Ohio.
