Statesboro - A 28-year-old Bulloch County woman, Mrs. Betty Jean Hurst Driggers, was stabbed to death at her home near Statesboro Sunday morning, according to local authorities. Sheriff Arnold Akins said a warrant was issued for a suspect in the slaying. Aikens said robbery may have been a motive and indicated the suspect was related to the victim.

Surviving are her husband, Gordon Glenn Driggers of Statesboro; and two sisters, Mrs. Patsy Parrish of Statesboro and Mrs. JoAnn Button of Savannah.
