Funeral services for Clarice S. Sanderson, 78, of Choudrant will be held Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Whitman. Burial will follow in the Choudrant Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Sanderson passed away Monday, August 22, 2005 in Ruston.
Mrs. Sanderson was a lifelong resident of Choudrant and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Choudrant where she had previously been active in the choir.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Lynn "Ikey" Sanderson; infant daugther, Julia Clarice Sanderson and brother, T.H. "Buddy" Sisemore.
She is survived by her son, Bill Sanderson and wife Debbie; daughter Susan Odom and husband Keith; grandchildren, Josh Sanderson and wife J'nell, Katie Sanderson, Lane Odom and Keeley Odom all of Choudrant; sisters, Eloise Culver of Houston, TX and Jacque Wilson and husband Randy of Shreveport, LA; sister-in-law, Barbara Pipes of Choudrant; brothers-in-law, Jack Sanderson of Choudrant, Gerald Sanderson and wife Ruth of Choudrant; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Tommy Sisemore, Perry Culver, Josh Sanderson, Lane Odom, A.L. Williams and Ragan Aswell.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2005 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
