Daniel married Viola Utah Morgan, 14 Jul 1889 and had the following children all born in Tattnall Co., GA:

1. Beulah Viola Hodges, b. 26 Nov 1890
2. Dena Mae Hodges, b. 06 Feb 1892; d. 16 Nov 1975, buried in section G1 beside Grover C. Humber, her husband.

3. Marvin Alexander Hodges, b. 06 Oct 1893 Tattnall Co., GA

4. Penie Leah Hodges, b. 26 Oct 1895; d. 04 Nov 1960, buried in section G1 of this cemetery, beside Daniel Alexander Hodges, her father.

5. Myrtle Lou Hodges, b. 02 Apr 1898.
